While designing and building approx 100 Fleece-O-Matics ( our PREMIUM tumbler, since 2011 ), I've heard a lot of feedback from customers expressing their pleasure of it's ergonomic features , and handcrafted look..........
.......... But, I met several frugal hobbyists along the way who emphasized they didn't need the frills, nor ruggedness of the commercial grade capacity tumbler. They were more concerned about space, total cost of unit and functionality. Shipping fees are generally a major consideration of any Tumbler costs and was focal point during my design of the lightweight Bit O Fluff with collapsable basket and fold up stand. The Bit O Fluff represents my solution for the fiber hobbyist's budget needs.
The Bit O Fluff was designed as an affordable, functional, portable, lightweight hobbyist tumbler. Material weight and material costs played a key role in this design to keep shipping costs down. The Bit O Fluff was not designed as an attractive PRETTY show piece, but as a bare bones functional tool that can tumble clean 2 lbs of fleece. The basket can collapse along with a fold up stand, for easy travel and storage.
The support stand is made from easy cleaning, laminate shelving material, allowing for fast cleanup after each tumbling.The basket is made of strong corrugated plastic and plastic wire mesh, which allowed cost reduction design features never before seen in fleece tumblers.
Please keep in mind that the average tumbler on the market weighs approx 200 lbs, this one comes in at 37lbs!!!!!.... but also keep in mind that the fiber you intend to tumble only weighs 2 lbs!!!!!! do you really think a machine weighing 200lbs is required to tumble 2 lbs of fleece?

Stick with my products folks, I get rid of the excess engineering, commonly found in our industry, which adopted existing age old technological designs developed for "other" industries and purposes.
My Premium tumbler, The Fleece O Matic ,was a breakthrough in overall machine weight when it came off the assembly line at 110lbs. It tumbles 5 lbs of fleece, and is a beautifully hand crafted machine with many ergonomic features.
Normal Turn around time for this tumbler is between 2-4 weeks, but can get longer during busy times.
