PacaTrapper inventor, Don, wants to demonstrate how easy PacaTrapping really is. Don takes production efficiency very seriously and loves to come up with new time saving tools and ideas. So just play along and let him demonstrate his new toy.
Don demonstrates the versitility of using the PacaTrapper as a restraint system for shearing. Imagine having a 365 day gestation pregnant girl and its going to be 90 degrees for the next 3 days and your shearer is not coming for 2 more weeks. Heat stress emits toxins which kill a fetus. Well?, rank amatuer shearer, Don, takes matters into his own hands and shears quite easily standing up. In a few short minutes Don can have the alpaca transformed from a stressed-out steamy dam to a healthy stylin buzz-cut dam!
NOPE, no mats needed, NOPE, no tie downs needed, NOPE, no knee pads required, NOPE, no shearing table required, NOPE, no drugs to administer, ONE PacaTrapper & one electric shears Hair plugs transplant, DEFINATELY!
Within minutes of installing the PacaTrapper, Greg jumps right in and starts trimming toenails. He needs no help from anyone. This female is one of his biggest and most troublesome girls to handle. You sure wouldnt know it from this video, but the PacaTrapper seems to have this effect on many hard to handle alpacas. I can't give you an explanation of WHY exactly, it just does!.
Now, the Back feet
Greg finished all 4 of Fergie's feet.
Now he is ready to tackle Pokerface. Greg mentions, "PokerFace is really going to put the test to the PacaTrapper, Don" .......... Pshhh.....No Problem! With Bungee BiteBloc in place, he is ready to trim up PokerFace's teeth with the Tooth a Matic. Greg needs NO help , he's a 1-man paca caregiven machine! He only needs 1 barn post, 1 PacaTrapper, 1 Tooth a Matic! hmmm, Interesting..........I notice Greg's wife, Joyce, is smiling from ear to ear.
This next video was using my revised prototype pacatrapper. This girl didnt require a belly strap to hold her position. At this point in time, I didnt think I was going to need a belly strap. Some future alpacas proved that infact a belly strap would be helpful.
.......Another early video with prototype Here, our vet, Kiko, uses the PacaTrapper for an ultrasound. He commented how calm the alpacas seem to behave in the new contraption. He would like me to name the new contraption after him....not sure what he has in mind?...........................Kik-O-Matic????
